my take on the movie ‘Wicked’ and why people hated it
I may have been the last person on earth to see the movie ‘Wicked’ but I feel in my heart that the timing I finally watched the movie could not have been better! I believe that delays are simply alignment, and so, it did not upset me when I could not attend my country’s premiere of it the first week it hit cinemas.
I lean mostly towards an esoteric perspective on things to gain a better understanding. This is mostly for selfish reasons as I’m able to best retain the key lessons attained from art in this way. This stood true for ‘Wicked.’ My esoteric senses kicked in the moment I saw the title of the movie appear on the screen — making my heart palpitate, if I might add because I also adore and appreciate mesmerizing imagery and visuals
The scene opens with Glenda proclaiming proudly that “the wicked witch of the west is dead.” The scene then cuts to her arrival and this is done in a majestic way. Here, she arrives in a new land, but it becomes evident she lives in a bubble.
