my new year resolution for you is that you listen to the sound of your voice
2024 has been such a deeply introspective year for me. I know I touched on this a couple of posts ago but hear me out —
While journaling I realized how easy it is to lose ourselves to a world that takes so much more than it gives. It’s been embedded in us to give the best we can, sacrifice, work hard, and continue moving forward despite what we’re experiencing intrinsically. We have to decide if this is what we want for ourselves if this is the legacy we want to leave for our siblings — our children.
We must silence the noise of the outside world and our minds so we can hear ourselves THINK!
When we’re able to hear our own voices we realize what has to be done for our own betterment. We realize the things we wanted so damn badly — were not actually fulfilling in the first place. We realize that we just want to be loved and we want to live a life we love…
That’s not too much to ask for❤️
But you have to take ownership of your ship🚢
You have to decide that you don’t want to walk the path you’ve always walked blindly, you want to carve a path you want.
