Truthfully, I am deeply ashamed of this country’s response to the TikTok ban.
Are we so indoctrinated that any form of progression as a society is seen as something negative or horrible?
Good and bad exists in everything — in the same way other apps can be used for counter productive behaviors, Tik Tok poses very similar pros and cons.
Providing that we mimic western cultures so well — shouldn’t we see this platform as an opportunity to deconstruct old employment systems that limit us and introduce new ones where we are allowed to be ourselves and generate more income, which in turn positively impacts our country’s revenue?
The response from this country truly encapsulates how far we’ve come — in terms of our mental capacity and openness to progession.
In my opinion — TikTok offers us something we’ve never had in past dispensations. Something our elders wish they had — which is the opportunity to entrepreneurially pave our own path and decide how much we’re. truly worth. We should take this as a sign from the heavens as a portal to freedom and liberation. Something our souls have been yearning for. Why are we so comfortable living below our means? Financially and creatively. We deserve better, our elders deserve better, our children deserve better.
